Pricing

The 2026 rate card, posted in full

OCRV Center posts its 2026 labour rates: $210 per hour for body and paint, $260 for mechanical and electrical, $285 for diagnostics and $95 for detail. Materials are calculated from paint and body hours rather than estimated. Parts carry a published markup and every service has a stated price band.

Most body shops in this trade will not put a number in writing until the vehicle is already on the lot. Publishing the rate card means the arithmetic on any estimate can be checked line by line before anyone commits to a drive up from San Juan Capistrano.

Labour

Posted hourly rates

$210per hour

Body and paint

Collision, structural, fiberglass, refinish and body panel work.

$260per hour

Mechanical and electrical

12V and 120V systems, generators, plumbing, appliances, leveling and suspension.

$285per hour

Insurance billed jobs may be written at carrier negotiated rates that differ from the posted retail rates above.

Materials

Calculated, not estimated

Material charges scale with the size of the job because they are derived from hours, not added as a flat percentage.

Paint supplies
$55 per hour times paint hours
Body supplies
$5 per hour times body hours
Hazmat and disposal
$45 flat

Paint supplies: Covers primer, sealer, base, clear, reducer, activator, masking and booth consumables. It scales with the size of the refinish rather than being a flat add-on.

Body supplies: Abrasives, filler, adhesive, fasteners, seam sealer and corrosion protection.

Hazmat and disposal: Applied when chemicals, refrigerant or LP are involved. Covers compliant capture and disposal.

Sales tax of 7.75 percent applies to parts and materials. Labor is not taxed in California.

Parts

Published markup

Parts $100 or less
100 percent markup
Parts over $100
35 percent markup
Special order parts
100 percent non-refundable deposit at order

Parts $100 or less: Small parts carry handling cost that exceeds their value. Sourcing, receiving and stocking a $12 clip costs the same as a $1,200 panel.

Parts over $100: Standard industry handling on caps, panels, glass, appliances and mechanisms.

Special order parts: RV panels, caps and discontinued components are built to order and cannot be returned once the factory releases them.

Estimates

What it costs to get a number

Collision estimate

Complimentary. Insurance walk-ins welcome.

Bring the vehicle to the Yorba Linda facility and a collision estimator writes the damage report at no charge. Insurance walk-ins do not need an appointment, though calling ahead shortens the wait.

RV systems estimate

$150, credited against an authorized repair.

Slide-outs, awnings, water systems, electrical and generator work need a technician on the vehicle before anyone can quote honestly. The $150 covers that time and comes straight off the invoice once the repair is authorized.

In-depth diagnostic

$285 per hour, one hour minimum, credited against an authorized repair.

Intermittent electrical faults, parasitic draws and control module problems need instrumented testing. The hour is credited back when the repair is authorized.

Terms

Deposits and payment

Jobs over $2,000
50 percent deposit at authorization
Jobs over $10,000
Additional 25 percent when parts arrive
All jobs
Final balance due at pickup. No vehicle leaves the property until paid in full.
Card payments over $1,000
3.5 percent surcharge

Cash, check and ACH carry no surcharge. Special order parts require full payment at order because RV panels and caps are built to order and cannot be returned once the factory releases them.

Service ranges

Price band for every service

Ranges reflect completed work at OCRV Center. Where a range is open ended the high figure is a floor rather than a ceiling, because a full structural rebuild has no natural cap.

Bundles

Packaged work, priced below the parts

Jobs that share a setup cost less when they are done in one visit. These six are the combinations that come up most often.

Roof and Seal Package

Roof work is the single highest-value preventive job on any RV or trailer. Sealant fails at the penetrations long before the membrane does, and the damage that follows is interior, structural and expensive. Doing the inspection, the reseal and the recoat in one visit means one setup, one teardown and one round of masking rather than three.

  • Full roof inspection with moisture meter readings at every penetration
  • Complete reseal of vents, skylights, AC shroud, antenna and refrigerator vent
  • Lap sealant removal and replacement, not a skim coat over the old bead
  • Roof recoat with a self-levelling membrane compatible with the existing surface
  • Written condition report with photographs of every penetration
$2,650$3,400Saves $750

Best for: Any coach or trailer that has not had its roof resealed in the last two years.

Slide-Out Service Package

Slide seals and slide mechanisms fail together. A dragging room chews its seals, and a failed seal lets water into the mechanism. Servicing both at once means the room only has to be pulled and staged one time, which is where most of the labour hours in slide work actually go.

  • Mechanism inspection and adjustment on every slide, Schwintek, Lippert In-Wall, Power Gear or BAL
  • Wiper, bulb and D seal replacement on all slide perimeters
  • Slide topper inspection and fabric replacement where worn
  • Room alignment and travel calibration
  • Rail lubrication with the manufacturer specified compound
$3,200$4,100Saves $900

Best for: Coaches with two or more slides, or any slide that has started binding or leaking.

Pre-Trip Readiness Package

Most trips that end badly end badly in the first week, and almost always on a system that was already marginal before departure. Checking LP, power, water and running gear together catches the interactions that a single system check misses, such as a weak converter that only shows up under generator load.

  • LP system pressure test and leak check by a certified technician
  • Generator service including oil, filters and load test
  • Fresh water system sanitation and pressure test
  • 12V and 120V system check including transfer switch operation
  • Tire condition, age and pressure check with bearing inspection
  • Written go or no-go report on every system
$1,795$2,350Saves $555

Best for: Full-timers heading out for a season, and anyone taking a coach out after long storage.

Paint Restoration Package

Correction and protection belong in the same visit. Polishing a coach and then leaving it unprotected simply resets the oxidation clock, and coating over uncorrected paint locks the defects in under a layer that is designed to last years.

  • Full exterior wash and chemical decontamination
  • Oxidation removal on gelcoat and clear coat
  • Multi-stage paint correction to remove swirl and wash marks
  • Ceramic coating application with a documented cure
  • Headlight and marker lens restoration
  • Chrome and polished aluminium brightwork polish
$3,350$4,200Saves $850

Best for: Coaches with chalky gelcoat, and any unit going up for sale.

Fleet Readiness Package

Fleet body work is cheapest when it is batched. Bringing units through on a schedule means shared setup, negotiated parts ordering and a single documentation pass, and it converts unplanned downtime into planned downtime. Pricing shown is per unit at a five unit minimum.

  • Cosmetic and structural body inspection on every unit
  • Decal and graphics condition audit against brand standard
  • Reflective conspicuity tape check and replacement where non-compliant
  • Roll up door, latch and lift gate function check
  • Written per-unit condition report with photographs
  • Scheduled batch booking so units cycle through without stacking downtime
$1,350$1,800Saves $450

Best for: Delivery, service and municipal fleets running five or more units.

Storm and Hail Damage Package

Hail claims are won or lost on documentation. A panel-by-panel dent map submitted with the first estimate produces a very different settlement from a general description of damage, and roof impact is routinely missed on the initial carrier inspection because nobody climbs up.

  • Full hail damage mapping with panel-by-panel dent counts
  • Photographic documentation formatted for carrier submission
  • Roof membrane and skylight impact assessment
  • Supplement preparation with teardown findings attached
  • Direct carrier coordination through the claim
$1,150$1,650Saves $500

Best for: Any coach or trailer caught in a hail event, especially units stored outdoors.

Bundle pricing assumes no pre-existing damage is found during teardown. If something structural turns up, it is quoted separately rather than absorbed silently. More on the bundles.
