**Montana and Alpine front cap and pin box area stress**

Long triple axle Montana and Alpine fifth wheels concentrate hitch loads into the front cap and upper deck structure. Rough roads work that area, and owners find gel coat cracking around the front window corners, separated caulk at the cap to sidewall seam and occasionally a cracked upper deck floor at the pin box. Repairing only the visible fiberglass ignores the frame and floor structure carrying the load. Inspection should include the pin box mounting plate, the front frame rails and the upper deck floor before cosmetic work is scheduled.

**Raptor and Fuzion garage floor and tie down anchor pull through**

Raptor and Fuzion toy haulers advertise substantial cargo capacity in the rear garage, and owners load side by sides, motorcycles and quads against floor mounted tie down rings. Those anchors are fastened into the composite floor deck and frame crossmembers. Repeated dynamic loading, especially with ratchet straps cranked tight, elongates the holes and eventually pulls an anchor through the deck. Proper repair backs the anchor with steel plate welded or bolted to the crossmember rather than simply installing a larger fastener into damaged decking.
